Terms and Conditions
A deposit of 20% of the hire charge is required before a booking can be confirmed. This should be made by cheque and will be refunded if the accommodation is not available.
On receipt of a deposit or full payment, we shall send you a receipt and an invoice for any balance due and confirm your booking. Any balance is payable two calendar months before your holiday begins. On receipt of full payment, we shall send you a confirmation and receipt together with details on how to get to the cottage and the welcoming arrangements.
Arrival and Departure
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, unless alternate arrangements are agreed. The cottage must not be entered before 14:00 hours on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 hours on the day of departure.
Once a booking has been confirmed by Caverhill Cottages a contract has been made; the deposit cannot be refunded thereafter, and the balance of the hire is due not less than two months before the start of the let. However, if written notice of cancellation is received, Caverhill Cottages Ltd will attempt to re-let the accommodation, although no guarantee of successful re-letting is given. In the event of re-letting taking place the deposit only will be retained and any balance will be returned to the hirer.
The hirer agrees:
Pets must not under any circumstances be allowed on soft furnishings or beds nor shall they at any time be left alone in the property.
No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury, howsoever caused, which may be sustained during the holiday to the hirer, or any member of the hirers party or any or any invited person, or any car and its contents, or any possession of the hirer or any member of the hirers party or guest unless this results from the negligence of the owners or their agents.
