Terms and Conditions

Initial Payment

A deposit of 20% of the hire charge is required before a booking can be confirmed. This should be made by cheque and will be refunded if the accommodation is not available.

 

Balance Payment

On receipt of your completed booking form and deposit or full payment, we shall send you an invoice/receipt for the balance and confirm your booking. Any balance is payable two calendar months before your holiday. On receipt of your final or full payment, we shall send you details on how to get to your holiday house and the welcoming arrangements.

 

Arrival and Departure

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, unless alternate arrangements are agreed. The accommodation must not be entered before 14:00 hours on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 hours on the day of departure.

 

Cancellations

Once a booking has been confirmed by Caverhill Cottages Ltd a contract has been made; the deposit cannot be refunded thereafter, and the balance of the hire is due not less than two months before the start of the let. However, if written notice of cancellation is received Caverhill Cottages Ltd will attempt to re-let the accommodation, although no guarantee of successful re-letting is given. In the event of re-letting taking place the deposit only will be retained and any balance will be returned to the hirer.
